The catapults used by airplane carriers to launch bomber jets should be extended to regular airports, in order to save fuel, improve launching security, reduce noise and air pollution and allow lighter planes.
In airports close to the water, the launching catapult should point there, in order to reduce damage in case of engine failure and accident.
